The rules
How to play
1
Players line up at a starting line.
2
On a signal, everyone races to the finish line but must move in a bear's cross-gait: step forward with the left hand and right foot together, then right hand and left foot together.
3
Arms must touch the ground.
4
A judge can award victory either to the first player to cross the finish or to the player with the most convincing bear imitation.
5
Falling or stepping normally disqualifies that stride.
Keep it fair
Choose before the race whether it's a speed race or a best-imitation contest, you cannot merge the two criteria mid-race.
