Cabra Cega
Also known as Blind Goat, Cabra-Cega
Portugal's blind man's bluff, one player is blindfolded, spun until dizzy, then must catch and correctly identify another player to swap roles.
How to play
One player is blindfolded (the Blind Goat) and spun in place several times by the group to disorient them.
Other players scatter in the playing area but must stay within the agreed boundary.
The blindfolded player reaches out, moves around, and tries to catch another player.
When they catch someone, they must identify that person by touch alone, feeling their hair, face, clothes.
If the identification is correct, the caught player becomes the new Blind Goat.
If wrong, the original player remains blindfolded and tries again.
Keep it fair
Keep the playing area small and free of obstacles, a safe boundary means no one is tempted to cheat by stepping outside it.
