The rules
How to play
1
One child kneels face-down with arms stretched out; the others sit in a circle around them placing their open palms on the kneeling child's back.
2
A small pebble (or folded leaf) is passed from hand to hand while everyone sings the 'Cublak-Cublak Suweng' song.
3
When the song ends, each player closes their fist.
4
The kneeling child rises, looks at everyone's faces and closed hands, and guesses who holds the pebble.
5
A correct guess means they swap roles.
Keep it fair
Allow the guesser three attempts before everyone swaps roles, this prevents the game stalling if the guesser keeps getting it wrong.
