Eagle Catches Chicks
Also known as 老鹰捉小鸡 (Lǎo Yīng Zhuō Xiǎo Jī), Hawk and Chickens
One eagle tries to tag the last chick in a line protected by a mother hen with outstretched arms.
How to play
One player is the eagle, one is the mother hen, and the rest are chicks.
Chicks form a line behind the hen, each holding the shoulders of the person in front.
The hen spreads both arms wide and shuffles left and right to block the eagle.
The eagle tries to get around the hen to tag the last chick in the line.
The chick line must stay connected, if the chain breaks, everyone resets.
When the eagle tags the last chick, that chick becomes the new eagle.
Keep it fair
Rotate the eagle role after each catch so no one is stuck as eagle the whole game. If the chain breaks accidentally (not from a tag), simply reform and keep playing.
