How to play

1

Divide into two teams. The hiding team secretly passes a small object (pebble, seed, button) between their hands using rapid shuffling and crossed arms to deceive the other side.

2

Then all players hold out both closed fists.

3

The guessing team's leader picks fists one at a time and calls 'Pooch!' (empty) to eliminate them, they may eliminate up to three fists total.

4

If the object is in a remaining fist, the hiding team scores a point.

5

If it is in one of the called fists, the guessing team scores.

6

Teams swap roles each round.

Keep it fair

The hiding team must freeze their fists before the guessing begins, no more swapping once all hands are extended. Designate a neutral 'referee' child who confirms the object's location before the result is announced.
