How to play

1

Divide into two equal teams on either side of a centre line.

2

One raider at a time crosses the line while chanting 'du-du-du-du' on a single breath.

3

The raider tries to touch one or more defenders and return safely before running out of breath.

4

Defenders try to wrestle the raider down or hold them until they break the chant.

5

Touched defenders are out; a captured raider is out.

6

Play for a set number of raids per side.

7

Team with the most opponents eliminated wins.

8

Note: Ha-Du-Du uses looser rules than formal Kabaddi, no strict court markings needed.

Keep it fair

The chant must be continuous and audible. If other players cannot hear 'du-du' the raider is out, make audibility the rule, not the honor system.
