The rules
How to play
1
One player is the seeker and stands at base, closes their eyes, and counts loudly to an agreed number (usually 20 or 50).
2
All other players hide anywhere in the agreed play area.
3
When the seeker finishes counting they call 'Coming, ready or not!' and search.
4
When a hider is found, they race back to base, if the hider tags base first they are safe; if the seeker tags them they are caught.
5
The last person found (or first person caught) is the seeker next round.
Keep it fair
Set clear boundaries before starting and insist the seeker counts loudly enough for everyone to hear, disputes about boundaries cause most arguments.
