How to play

1

One player (It) stands at a finish line facing away.

2

All others line up far behind.

3

It chants 'Mugunghwa kkochi pieotseumnida!' (The hibiscus flower has bloomed!) as fast or slow as they like, then spins around.

4

While It is chanting, players rush forward.

5

When It turns around, everyone must freeze perfectly still.

6

Anyone seen moving is eliminated or returns to start.

7

First player to tag It wins and becomes the next It.

Keep it fair

It makes the final call on who moved, but to keep it fair, agree before the game that It can only eliminate players who were clearly still in motion, not just wobbling or breathing.
