A chaser hunts a runner who can find safety by slotting into pairs scattered around the field.

The rules
How to play
1
Players pair up and stand in two-person lines throughout the playing area.

One player is the Runner and one is the Chaser.

The Runner escapes by joining the front or back of any pair, when they do, the person at the opposite end of that pair instantly becomes the new Runner.

If the Chaser tags the Runner before they join a group, they swap roles.
Keep it fair
Set a rule that the Runner must fully connect (both hands on shoulders) before the swap counts, this stops disputes about whether they were 'in' or not.
