How to play
1
One player is the Oni (it).
2
The Oni closes their eyes and counts to ten while others scatter.
3
The Oni calls 'Mō ii kai?' (Ready?).
4
Players shout 'Mō ii yo!' (Ready!) or 'Mada da yo!' (Not yet!).
5
The Oni then hunts and tags any player.
6
The tagged player becomes the new Oni.
Keep it fair
Use a gentle two-finger tap as the tag, no grabbing or hard slapping. If a player disputes being tagged, the Oni gets one chance to re-tag while everyone agrees to stand still.
