The rules
How to play
1
Two teams hold hands in parallel rows facing each other, a good distance apart.
2
Team One calls 'Ai Kerek!' and names a player from Team Two, who runs and tries to break through the joined hands of Team One.
3
If the runner succeeds, they choose one Team One player to bring back to their own side.
4
If they fail to break the chain, they join Team One.
5
Teams take turns calling.
6
The game ends when one team is too small to form a line, or by time.
Keep it fair
Runners must target a gap between two people and aim to split joined hands, crashing into a single person's body is unsafe and means a re-run, not a win.
