Rooster Fight (Kazakh)
Also known as Tebis, Ot Tiyu
One-legged hopping duel where two players bump and jostle trying to make the other put their raised foot down.
How to play
Each player stands on one leg, wrapping their free leg across their standing knee or behind their back.
Hands stay clasped in front.
Both players hop toward each other within a circle drawn in the dirt, roughly three metres across.
They knock and jostle using only their body (shoulders, hips, torso).
The first to touch the ground with their raised foot, step outside the circle, or use their hands loses that round.
First to two wins.
Keep it fair
Stepping outside the circle is a loss, make the circle large enough (at least three big steps across) so a player driven to the edge has room to recover before accidentally stepping out.
