A flowing partner-choosing game where pairs form a walking tunnel and a lone player passes through to steal a new partner.
How to play
Players pair up and stand in a long column behind each other, facing forward.
Partners hold hands and raise their arms to form a low tunnel.
The leftover player (without a partner) walks slowly through the tunnel from the back, gently taking the hand of any person they choose.
The chosen player and the newcomer then walk to the front and become the new pair at the head of the column.
The partner left alone is now the new single player and walks through the tunnel to choose again.
The brook keeps flowing continuously.
Keep it fair
The lone player must keep walking at a slow steady pace, no running or rushing past pairs without choosing, as this stalls the game.
