The rules
How to play
1
Two teams line up facing each other, each player given a number.

The 'bacon', a shoe, cloth or any object, sits in the middle.
3
The caller shouts a number and the matching player from each team races out.
4
Grab the bacon and sprint home without being tagged to score a point, or tag the carrier to steal it.
5
First team to an agreed score wins.
Keep it fair
The caller keeps a quiet tally so every number gets called roughly equally, kids notice fast when their number never comes up.
