Team Hide and Seek (Persian)
Also known as Sōk Sōk
Team hide-and-seek played across a large area, often at night, whole teams hide and seek each other.
How to play
Divide into two teams. The seeking team covers their eyes and counts to 100 aloud together.
The hiding team runs and hides across the full play area (street, park, courtyard).
Seekers then spread out and search.
When a seeker finds a hider, both sprint back to base, the seeker yells 'Sōk Sōk!' If the seeker tags the hider before base, that hider is caught.
All hiders must be found; then teams swap roles.
The team that finds (or escapes) fastest wins.
Keep it fair
Agree on clear boundaries before the count begins. The most common argument is 'that's outside the area', walking the boundary together takes 60 seconds and prevents most disputes.
