The rules

How to play

1

Two players face each other and begin a clapping routine in a specific ascending order: clap own hands, cross-clap partner's right hand, clap own hands, cross-clap partner's left hand, then both.

2

The sequence builds through 10 parts, each segment adding a new move while maintaining all previous ones.

3

Players sing or chant 'Tinko, Tinko, Tinko' to keep pace.

4

The tempo increases with each completed sequence.

5

A player who misses a beat or breaks the pattern must go back to sequence 1. Successfully completing all 10 sequences without error is the win.

Keep it fair

Agree the exact 10-step sequence before you start, if anyone is unsure of a move, walk through it slowly first so there is no dispute mid-game.
