Al Natt (Leapfrog)
Also known as Al Natt, Al-Natt Ingleesi
Classic leapfrog where children bend over and others vault over their backs in sequence.
How to play
One child bends down low, bracing hands on knees.
Other players line up several metres away.
Each runner sprints toward the bent child, places both hands on the child's back or shoulders, and vaults cleanly over.
After jumping, the player bends down a step ahead of the previous one.
The line of crouching players grows longer.
The game ends when everyone has jumped the whole line, or when someone knocks over a crouched player, that jumper then starts the bent line.
Keep it fair
Agree on how low the crouching player must bend, if they straighten up while someone is in mid-air it causes falls and arguments. The crouching player must hold still until the jumper's feet hit the ground.
