The rules
How to play
1
All players except one join hands in a circle and begin moving and rotating.
2
The remaining child, Amoo Zanjir Baf (Uncle Chain-Weaver), stands outside singing 'Amoo Zanjir Baf! Did you weave my chain?' The circle responds in song.
3
Amoo then tries to force apart two joined hands.
4
The circle must hold tight.
5
If a link breaks, the child who caused the break joins Amoo on the outside, and the player who slipped becomes the new Amoo.
Keep it fair
Amoo may only pull with their hands, no using body weight to lean on joined arms. If Amoo pushes rather than pulls, that attempt does not count.
