Half the group are robbers, half are police, cops chase and jail robbers while free robbers try to break their friends out.

The rules
How to play
1
Divide equally into police and robbers.

Designate a small area as the jail.
3
Police chase robbers and tag them to send them to jail.
4
Jailed robbers must stay put until touched by a free robber, that touch frees them.
5
Police win if all robbers are jailed at the same time.
6
If the game goes long without a police win, swap roles.
Keep it fair
Draw or mark the jail boundary clearly before the game starts, vague boundaries cause most disputes. A player is 'in jail' only when both feet are inside the line.
