Tagged players freeze on the spot and can only be freed by a teammate crawling between their legs.

The rules
How to play
1
One or two children are 'it' and chase the rest.

When tagged, a player must freeze with legs wide apart and arms out.

Frozen players call to teammates for rescue; a free player unfreezes them by crawling through their legs.

If all running players are frozen simultaneously, the taggers win.

Best played with a time limit.
Keep it fair
Establish a safe base where players can rest for a maximum of ten seconds, prevents anyone camping safety indefinitely.
