The rules
How to play
1
One player is the Hunter and counts aloud at base with eyes shut.
2
All others hide in the surrounding yard or street.
3
When the count ends, the Hunter searches.
4
To eliminate a hider, the Hunter must both touch them and correctly say their name aloud.
5
A hider who makes it back to base unseen and calls 'Chashm!' is safe.
6
The first hider caught and named becomes the next Hunter.
7
If the Hunter cannot name someone they touch, that player escapes.
Keep it fair
The Hunter must say the name before releasing their grip, not after. This one rule prevents the endless argument about 'I already said your name before you ran'.
