The rules
How to play
1
One player is Leapșa (it).

They chase all other players and try to tag them.

Any player who gets both feet off the ground, standing on a stone, step, root, or ledge, is completely safe and cannot be tagged.

No perching in the same spot for more than 5 seconds.

When tagged, the touched player shouts 'Leapșa!' and immediately becomes the new chaser.

A counting rhyme is used to choose the first Leapșa.
Keep it fair
Enforce a strict 5-second perching rule, calling it out loudly and counting visibly prevents any debate about how long someone has been up.
