Ojingeo (Squid Game)
Also known as 오징어 (Ojingeo), Squid
Attackers try to hop across a squid-shaped court to reach the head zone while defenders guard on two legs.
How to play
Draw a squid shape on the ground: a circle connected to a trapezoid body and a narrow neck.
Defenders stand inside and move freely on both feet.
Attackers start outside at the tail and must hop on one foot at all times outside the figure.
Attackers can 'promote' by hopping through the neck into the head circle, once inside, they may use both feet.
Defenders tag or push attackers out of bounds.
Attackers win by getting one player to the circle at the head; defenders win by eliminating all attackers.
Keep it fair
Agree before the game on whether pushing is allowed, in the traditional version it is, but for mixed ages, restrict contact to tagging only.
