The rules
How to play
1
Use a chant or counting game to split players into police and thieves.

Draw a small circle as the jail.

Police chase and tag thieves; tagged thieves go to jail (stand inside the circle).

An uncaught thief can free jailed players by running in and slapping their hand without being tagged themselves.
5
Police win when all thieves are in jail; thieves win if at least one stays free until time is called or if they free all jailed players.
Keep it fair
Only one thief can be freed per jail-run, this prevents a crowd rush that makes the game uncatchable.
