The rules

How to play

1

Two players stand face to face.

2

They clap hands together rhythmically while lifting their feet alternately in a synchronized pattern, a clapping-lifting sequence.

3

The aim is NOT to lift the same leg as your opponent at the same moment.

4

If both players raise the same leg simultaneously, the other player scores a point.

5

If one player raises a leg when the other does not, the non-lifting player scores.

6

Play continues through a chant or song; first to 10 points wins.

7

Traditionally played by girls but enjoyed by all.

Keep it fair

Both players must keep their hands visibly clapping between leg moves, hands stop, the point is void and replayed.
