Two children form a bridge; the rest weave underneath in a chain while singing, the bridge falls on the last child.

The rules
How to play
1
Two taller children face each other, join raised hands to form an arch, and secretly pick names (e.g. 'melón' and 'sandía').

The rest link up in a line and weave under the arch singing 'A la víbora, víbora de la mar.'

When the verse ends the bridge drops, trapping the child passing through.

That child whispers which secret name they choose and joins that side.

Play continues until all are sorted into two teams, optionally ending with a tug-of-war.
Keep it fair
Keep the secret names truly secret until the child is caught, hearing them early lets kids game the system and causes arguments.
