Care Care Gospodare
Also known as Emperor Emperor Our Lord
The Emperor stands with their back turned and assigns players novelty steps, whoever reaches the Emperor first wins.
How to play
One player is the Emperor (car) and stands at a wall with their back to the group.
Other players start at the opposite end and ask in chorus 'Care, care, gospodare, koliko ima sati?' (Emperor, emperor, how many o'clock is it?).
The Emperor answers with an animal name and a number, '3 horse steps!' (large lunging steps), '5 mouse steps!' (tiny shuffles), '2 cat steps!' (medium steps), '1 ant step!' (heel-to-toe).
Players perform those exact steps toward the Emperor.
First player to reach and touch the Emperor becomes the new Emperor.
Keep it fair
The Emperor must turn around after calling the step type to watch players execute the steps correctly, no peeking from players and no cheating on the step size.
