How to play

1

Half the players form a circle and raise their arms to make arches.

2

One player weaves in and out under every arch while the group sings 'In and out the dusty bluebells…'.

3

On the second part ('Tippy tippy tap tap on your shoulder'), the weaver stops and taps the shoulders of the nearest child in the circle to the beat.

4

That child joins the weaver's line.

5

The pair now weave together, and the line grows after each verse until everyone is weaving.

Keep it fair

This is a cooperative game with no winner or loser. If the line gets tangled, just stop, re-form, and start the verse again, it is part of the fun for young players.
