A Fijian circle tag game where a designated warrior must catch the player called out, who then becomes the new warrior.

The rules
How to play
1
Players form a wide circle and one player stands in the center as the warrior (toa).

The warrior calls out any player's name and immediately chases them.

The called player sprints around the outside of the circle to reach the warrior's vacated center spot before being tagged.

If they succeed, they become the new warrior.

If tagged before reaching center, the same warrior plays again.

No player can be called twice in a row.
Keep it fair
The center spot must be clearly marked (a stone, a scratched circle) so there is no dispute about who reached it first.
